    The Monument to the Uprising of the Residents of Kordun and Banja is a memorial to the Yugoslav resistance in the Second World War. It is located on the highest peak Veliki Petrovac of the central Croatian mountain range Petrova Gora.

                      The monument to the uprising of the people of Kordun and Banija (simply known as Petrova Gora monument) is a World War II monument erected on Veliki Petrovac, the highest peak of Petrova Gora (Petersberg).
                      It celebrates the rebellion and resistance of the people of Kordun and Banija against Nazi fascism and recalls the victims of Nazi fascism, both civilian casualties and fallen resistance fighters.
