In the far west of the Jotunheimen National Park is a mountain range of epic proportions that takes the breath away when first sighted from other parts of the national park. These are the peaks of Hurrungane, crowned by Store Skagastølstind, or Storen as it's otherwise known, Norway's third highest peak, first climbed by British mountaineer William Cecil Slingsby in 1876. From here in Rauddalen, the range's peaks look absolutely magnificent.
