The baroque country palace was built between 1679 and 1683 by Philipp Gaston Wolf, count of Wolfsthal. Today there is a hotel in the stately building. Zeilitzheim Castle is a baroque country castle in the Zeilitzheim district of the Kolitzheim municipality in the Schweinfurt district, which was built between 1679 and 1683. The client was Philipp Gaston Wolf, Count von Wolfsthal.

His possessions included Thannstein, Pillmersried Castle in the municipality of Rötz, Schmachtenberg Castle and Schenkenau, whose county also included Neuses am Sand Castle. In 1706 he was raised to the count. When his only son died, he adopted his friend, the Count Schönborn-Wiesentheid (?), As the son.
The Counts Schönborn remained the owners of the castle until the late 1950s, but then sold it.
