This clock was created by the Švenčionėliai Cultural Center together with the youth of the town during the implementation of the project “Creating the History of the City”. It was made by sculptor Marius Zavadskis. The project was partially financed by the Lithuanian Council for Culture, Švenčionėliai District Municipality and local entrepreneurs. The Švenčionėliai Cultural Center sundial is included in the international online catalog on the website: sundialatlas.net.
By the way, the sundial should not only be a great decoration of Švenčionėliai, part of its image, an attraction for tourists (you can take some good selfies), but will also perform a practical function – it will show the time.
