In 1877, on the day of the Holy Spirit, a place for a church was measured on a plot of land donated by the farmer Shiroki. In the autumn, the foundation stones of the church were laid. Construction work was carried out at the expense of L. Maslenikov and G. Senkov. The construction work was led by hieromonk Meliton. In the spring of 1878, the church was almost built, and services were held using ancient books. The church was consecrated on June 5, 1878.
