Nice that you have decided to come to our village inn.

Making your stay with us as comfortable as possible for you is our need!

That's why we also try to implement any change requests in the food / beverage offer individually for you! Ask us!

We attach particular importance to the fact that we serve the food fresh and mostly to our own recipes!

We still cook or roast ourselves, so that delays could occur if we operate accordingly. A previous registration almost always provides a better process.

A schnitzel z. B. is freshly breaded and tapped before it comes into the pan and then served.

We are happy to organize your celebrations up to 200 people in our house or out of the house!

The "Schanko" in Handorf-Langenberg (Vechta district) shows what role solidarity can play. When landlord Hubert "Schanko" Frilling died in 2017 at the age of over 90, the last pub was also on the verge of closing. The people in the village took matters into their own hands, founded a cooperative and took over the "Schanko". "We learned how well we can stick together as a village community," says Maik Escherhaus. He is a founding member of the cooperative. "A lot of work, a lot of work," he says today. But it was worth it. Handorf-Langenberg still has a meeting place in the village. The "Schanko" is still a home for clubs and a place for family celebrations.
