Directly on the cliffs near Lindhöft, the NABU (Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union) has cordoned off a narrow stretch of beach with flutter tape: the breeding ground of the ringed plover. It is an extremely well-camouflaged, relatively small wading bird. It can only be seen when it moves or when it draws attention with its whistle.
