The striking feature of the desert garden are the blue glass pyramids, which previously attracted curious visitors at the IGA 2003 in Rostock. These eye-catchers are framed by a traditional irrigation system, the falaj. Plants typical of the region grow in the landscaped herb, vegetable, and fruit garden. The enclosed area is filled with sand directly from the Al Ain oasis. Those who wish can feel the sand in their shoes on the desert path.

The plant makes a haggard impression. in one of the pyramids there is complete empty space. The rich city of Hamburg saves a lot here. the Botanical Gardens in Frankfurt or Munich are in a much better condition.
