Prasat Preah Ko (a name also shared by other sites) is located in the Thala Borivat district of Stung Treng Province and is the remains of a partially standing brick temple that once had an outer enclosure wall and a terrace. In front of the temple is a large sculpture of Nandi (Preah Ko), which gives the temple its current name.

Near Stung Treng is the Preah Kho Temple. The old brick temple is over 1,500 years old and was dedicated to Hindu gods. Next to it stands a new temple with a Nandi bull. Near the Hindu temples is a Buddhist monastery where monks still live today.
