Lovers of remote upland landscapes will be in their element in this part of the Wild Nephin National Park. Beneath the flanks of Slieve Carr, a mountain that's said to be the most remote point on the Irish mainland, you'll find little loughs and beautiful woodland. It's a hard-won stretch of the Western Way long-distance trail.
