It is easy to overlook it when passing by, but the Black Cross is extremely visually appealing: In the pre-Reformation period it was donated as a prayer cross by the Drebisch family, which is why it was also called the Drebisch cross. It can be found on a map as early as 1572 (!), Although it has of course been renewed again and again over the centuries. The present cross was made in 2004 from the wood of a pedunculate oak after someone stole the cross that was renewed in 1993.
