Elkeringhausen impresses with its attractive location. On the one hand, the state-approved climatic health resort is wonderfully sheltered from the wind at the foot of the mighty "Old Grimme" in the wide orc valley, just 3 km from the gates of Winterberg. On the other hand, it is located directly on the Hochsauerland-Höhenstraße and offers hikers a direct connection to the Rothaarsteig and the Winterberger Hochtour.
