The interior of the church features flat domes with frescoes by Christoph Anton Mayr. The vault fresco above the altar depicts St. Michael and the fallen angels in Hell, and the three vault frescoes in the nave depict St. Michael as the conqueror of evil forces, the protector of the church, and the patron of the dying.
