Gold Mine Hollow marks the final stretch of the Ozark Trail’s Between the Rivers Section, descending through a beautiful, quiet valley of white oak and pine. The hollow offers a peaceful campsite beside a seasonal creek with moss-covered boulders. There is minimal light in this remote area at night, making it an ideal spot for stargazing. Though scenic, this area can be overgrown and poorly marked, so come prepared with solid navigation tools and a sense of adventure.
