    The Lübarserhöhe is an artificial hill in the Lübars amusement park. From the 85 meter high summit you have a beautiful view over the wide meadows and up to the high-rise buildings of the Märkisches Viertel.

          The core of the Lübars amusement park is 85.3 m above sea level. NHN high artificial hill with a stacked natural stone circle on the summit. The area served as a landfill until the 1970s, when it was closed and gradually converted into a park: topsoil was placed on top as a top layer and bushes and trees were planted.

            This is the garbage heap, it was built from garbage and construction waste, there have been problems with underground fires for a long time, then at some point ventilation pipes were driven into the mountain to divert the gases that caused the fires. It is very nice there to fly kites or fly gliders. I loved playing there as a kid in the late 70's early 80's.

                The Lübarser Höhe is an artificial hill in the Lübarser leisure park. The 85.3 meter high hill, like the entire 40 hectare surrounding leisure park, was built between 1975 and 1993 on the site of a former household waste dump. From the summit there is an impressive panoramic view of Berlin and the surrounding area. In winter there is a 300 meter long toboggan run here. There is also a large lawn and barbecue areas here.
