The church in the village of Ivanovskoye, Zhukovsky district, was built in 1766. It is one of the oldest churches in the district. According to legend, it was built by a local landowner, Pyotr Tyufyakin. The temple was consecrated in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is located in an amazingly beautiful place - on the bank of the Protva River. There was a chapel on the territory of the temple. All this was surrounded by a stone fence with metal bars. In 1937, the temple was closed, grain was stored in it. In 1995, the building was returned to believers in an extremely deplorable state. Now the interior of the temple has been restored, the entrance group of the facade of the temple has been built, the bell tower has been restored.
