Hakodate Park (函館 公園) is the first park in Hokkaido built in 1879 at the foot of Mt. Hakodate (函館 山) in the southern part of Hakodate City, selected as one of Japan's top 100 historical parks and has an exotic atmosphere such as has the Meiji period.
