For years, the candy factory in Løkken has been an integral part of any visit to the town. It's always impressive and surprising how, during the production process, seemingly randomly assembled strips of boiled, colored sugar are transformed into small, edible works of art—sometimes inscribed with text—during demonstrations. The preparation of the material from the individual components and colors, as well as the painstaking hand-stretching of the pieces on large hooks, which is done in the heat of the ovens, is impressive.

In the Bolcheriet (candy factory) you can not only watch how typical Danish candies are made by hand, but also buy them directly. The Bolcheriet is very nicely decorated and the smell is heavenly. It is open daily from 10 a.m.
