John & Kathleen Bell Memorial at Bell Park White Rock BC CA
Bell Park
This monument honors the lives and legacy of John and Kathleen Bell, who made a lasting contribution to the City of Surrey. In 1960, with a desire to help children connect with nature, they generously donated these 4.66 acres of forested land to the citizens of Surrey.
Heritage Trees
Within this park stand two Pseudotsuga menziesii (Douglas-fir) trees recognized as Heritage Trees for their exceptional size, age, and species. These living giants are treasured examples of Surrey’s natural heritage.
