The former Hiestermann farm in Lutterloh is one of the oldest farms in the town and was first documented in 1438. The current main building, a four-post, half-timbered hall house, was built in 1845 and is complemented by several outbuildings. Particularly striking is the pagoda-shaped dovecote with a bell tower in the inner courtyard, which lends the complex a unique appearance. The farm complex is a listed building and continues to dominate the townscape. In recent years, it has been extensively restored with the support of the German Foundation for Monument Protection, including the restoration of the historic windows. A bronze plaque commemorates this support. Thus, the Hiestermann farm remains a significant example of regional architectural culture and an important piece of local history in the Southern Heath region.
