The Bürgerpark Bremen is a sprawling green area in the heart of the city of Bremen and extends over around 200 hectares. It borders on the Bremen city forest and together with it forms one of the largest contiguous park landscapes in the region. The park was founded in 1866 and is an outstanding example of 19th century garden art in Germany. It is almost completely preserved and is a listed building.

The Bürgerpark offers a variety of leisure opportunities. Visitors can stroll through the numerous walking paths, rent rowing boats on the park waters or visit the animal enclosures, which are home to deer and goats, among others. For families, there are several playgrounds and lawns that invite you to linger.

A special highlight in the Bürgerpark is the Waldschlösschen, a picturesque building that is used as a restaurant and event venue. In addition, the park regularly hosts cultural events such as concerts, theater performances and festivals, offering a wide range of entertainment options.
