Jørgenvågvatnet is a scenic lake on the Fjordruta trail. It shares its name with the nearby mountain massif of Jørenvågsalen, which reaches its highest point on the 867-metre (2,845 ft) Jurtinden. From here, it's possible to hike onto Jørenvågsalen via the pass between Jurtinden and Skarven, or to loop around Bjørnavatnet and ascend up to the ridge to the west of the main peak.
