From the geodetic (measurement) center of the canton of Zurich, on a clear day you have a fantastic panoramic view of the Alps, from the Säntis via Mönch, Eiger and Jungfrau and even further into the Black Forest in the north. A panoramic board helps identify the peaks.

The place is beautifully laid out, there are always people there who sit on the benches for a long time and enjoy the landscape. A board explains the Alpine chain and you can hear the chatter of geese from down in the valley.
