"Hüossen," calling out a loud MEOW
According to an old legend:
Before engines existed, ships were pulled upstream by bargemen. The bargemen, contemptuously called "Hüossen," regularly stopped by Hajen.
One day, they stole a roast hare from the oven, ate it, and disappeared before the innkeeper noticed.
The innkeeper swore revenge, and when the Hüossen returned later, he slaughtered his old cat.
When the Hüossen had eaten the cat, the innkeeper showed them the skin and explained the situation. They then felt nauseous and vomited.
From then on, the Hüossen passed by Hajen, meowing so pitifully that the farmers chased them with pitchforks.
Since then, this place has been called "Kattenhajen."
