The Belle Tour lighthouse stands on top of one of the Seven Sisters cliffs and gives a great view over the rest of the cliffs and Beachy Head beyond. Officially you are not allowed to cycle here, but for those who do venture up, a kiosk with drinks and snacks awaits at the lighthouse.
Fun facts: you can sleep in the B&B in the lighthouse for a spectacular view. In addition, the lighthouse was moved in the late 1990s due to the crumbling of the cliffs. The foundations of the old position are still visible today, but will probably also collapse into the sea in the coming years, just like the old path that has already partly collapsed into the sea. From 2024, the kiosk will therefore be located next to the lighthouse instead of on the cliff edge.
