Przyręb Ponds (Stawy Przeręb) is a complex of 23 ponds located in the Przeciszów commune. The pond complex covers an area of 461 ha. The reservoirs were most likely created in the 14th century, and their current shape comes from the years 1960–90, when most of the ponds were renovated. Some of them were deepened by building islands, some were divided into smaller ones (e.g. Góreczniki). Compared to other complexes, the reservoirs here are heavily overgrown with reeds and aquatic plants. This place is famous in Poland for the occurrence of the water caltrop, water lily and the abundance of water and marsh birds.
