On the base of the statue, three bronze figures stand around a column bearing a relief of the Hungarian coat of arms.
Creator: Géza Horváth (1879, Marosvásárhely - 1948).
Next to the main figures, two stone slabs feature flag reliefs.
Relief: László Gömbös (1926, Csörötnek - 2010, Dunakeszi), 1991.
One depicts the Hungarian coat of arms, the other shows the 1956 flag, from which the coat of arms was carved. The backs of the stone slabs contain a list of fallen heroes and victims of the genocide. The monument was placed at its current location after several erections. The monument was inaugurated on September 26, 1937. The opening speech was given by Councilor and Member of Parliament Richárd Grecsák.
