A relatively spacious parking lot for about a dozen vehicles is located right next to the swimming area itself. But just because there are no cars there doesn't mean the spot isn't occupied. In my case, three entire families had landed there with their canoes and took over the entire beach. The rest area for canoeists and kayakers should actually be further north. However, it had been converted into a beer can dump and a fishing camp by three drunken Germans.
