The Bush Walk is already listed as a highlight, but not the route. The walk actually starts at the restaurant and is signposted. However, we wanted to go to the restaurant after the walk, so we walked the other way. And that was a good thing – there are closure signs at the actual starting point! The heavy rains of the last few weeks have taken their toll on the path; this isn't a tourist highway. Walking in flip-flops, for example, would be more of a flop than flip-flop, but with surefootedness and sensible shoes, the path is easily walkable. There are many interesting information signs, and the view through the fence of the lake with all the animals drinking is spectacular at times!
