The Ostritz train station is no longer located on the German side, but on the Polish side in Krzewina Zgorzelecka. The railway line from Görlitz to Zittau leaves Germany for a short stretch and runs along the Polish side. This is why a small German town has a Polish train station. The railway line was built starting in 1873 and went into operation on October 15, 1875.
