The seafront is a great ride, rough tarmac (OK if your tyres are 700x28C or broader) - but, if part of a cycle-loop, check the wind direction and choose to go with the wind behind as there will be no shelter. We did not need to pedal once between Bexhill & Hastings then looped around via Combe Valley which was sheltered. Check out our loop-ride where we will include a timelapse video of the seafront journey (to be posted early January 23)
