Oroville is in the Okanogan, just four miles south of the Canadian border along U.S. Route 97. The town of under 2,000 people enjoys being situated at the end of Lake Osoyoos, where the Similkameen and Okanogan Rivers converge. This town hosts the Old Molson Museum Ghost Town, Tumbleweed Film Festival, and the Oroville May Festival.
