It is very interesting to see how the water bubbles up and rises again and again. It may even be that the water "bubbles" up to the dome like a geyser!

The "round fountain" is very nicely framed and designed. Signs explain that the rising carbonic acid occasionally makes the water bubble up like a small geyser, which, with a bit of luck, can be observed very nicely through the glass dome. Well done and worth seeing.

The brine spring was discovered in 1788 and developed for salt production. Since 1841 it has also been used as a bathing spring and today also for inhalation. Its name refers to the round frame of the fountain, which was unusual at the end of the 18th century. The round fountain is still considered a sight today because it intermittently surges violently and then sinks again from time to time. Visitors can watch this spectacle through a glass dome.
