        Great view over the Gröditzer Skala.
        It is remarkable that there are 2 types of bows, they differ in their color. At the end of WWII the bridge, like many others, was blown up by the Wehrmacht. The 4 rebuilt arches look different in color today.

                The construction of the railway was approved on June 14, 1900. The actual route construction began on October 1, 1902. The only larger structure to be built near Weißenberg was a ten-arch viaduct over the Löbauer Wasser, which was created using the then new type of concrete construction. The work was carried out by the specialized A-G for concrete and reinforcement construction.

                        The Gröditz Viaduct is a surprise – suddenly you're standing in front of these enormous arches, nestled in the hilly landscape. Ideal for a short rest or a photo opportunity with perspective.
                        Tip: From the Gröditz hiking car park, you can reach the viaduct in just a few minutes. The best photo spot is on the meadow below – there you can really get a good look at the arches. On weekends, families with children or kite flyers often come here.
