The only way to descend to the immediate shores of the Freibergsee is on the north side of the lake. In addition to the cozy retreat, the Naturbad Freibergsee offers an exceptional bathing fun with mountain views. For romantics or connoisseurs, a boat rental is available!

Beautiful hike from the bottom station Söllereck to Freibergsee and continue on Schwand to Faistenoy always overlooking the Allgäu mountain. In winter, the path is always cleared.

A must on hot days. Then stop at the great restaurant on the lake. If possible, do not climb the ascent to Freibergsee in FlipFlop. You can't get there by car as a visitor. Nice cold water.

At this point you can wonderfully on and into the lake without paying admission to the lido :) The descent from the forest road is steep, but it's worth it. Rudd and ducks frolic in the lake.
