In 1744, one of the members of the Kohário family had a late Baroque one-story, two-winged L-shaped mansion built on the site of an older castle. A few years later, two more wings were added to the mansion, so that the mansion had the shape of a rectangle with a courtyard inside. The mansion is surrounded by a large English park with rare trees from the 18th century. Various types of small architecture, a waterfall and a pond were incorporated into the composition of the park. It is suitable for romantic walks. The mansion and the park area are open to the public.
Currently, the exhibitions located in the mansion provide an overview of the period housing of the nobility (stylistic furniture mainly from the 18th - 19th centuries, paintings and others), as well as the development of forestry and hunting in Slovakia. Also of interest is the room wallpapered with period illustrations, mainly from French humorous magazines, hunting weapons and trophies, forestry equipment, tools and aids, and other exhibits.
