Nestled in the idyllic Spreewald forest, this ancient mill building is nestled in the idyllic Spreewald region. There used to be many mills here that harnessed the power of water. Until 1919, the mill wheel still clacked. Today, the water's power is no longer used, but you can still recharge your batteries.

In good weather, you can sit outside in the cozy garden and relax after a tour through the Spreewald. Alternatively, you can rent a boat at the host's jetty and cruise for hours through the heart of the Spreewald. The inn also serves as a "base camp" for a Spreewald vacation: Here, you can choose from a variety of rooms and set off on tour with the inn's rental bikes.

The watermill was, after the predecessor building was destroyed by fire in 1791, rebuilt in half-timbered construction. In 1919, the mill was discontinued, and it was opened in 1924 as a guesthouse with board. A wonderful destination by bike or on water.
