Quite remote and picturesque village in the north of the island. Nice waterfront, too. Only one cafe is open off season, which offers drinks only, more places open during season, where you can eat and drink. There's a ferry to Rhodes and Pigadia (and from there to Piraeus with various stops) twice a week. I usually cycle to Diafani on a Sunday morning, have a break and take the ferry at 2.50pm back to Pigadia. When the sky is clear, you can see Rhodes in the distance. Visible on one of the photos if you zoom in.
