    The highest peak of the Rigi is Rigi Kulm (1,797 meters). You can climb up via various hiking trails, all of which are very beautiful, or take the Arth-Rigi railway. From the summit you can enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Zug and sometimes a sea of clouds. The sunrise on the Rigi is particularly impressive. It is worth getting up early for this unforgettable experience.

        A stunning walk up Rigi Kulm. A bit like walking up Snowdon in Wales...hordes of tourists, a mountain railway and cafes. Personally I thought this was great to see, so many people out enjoying this lovely mountain with its gorgeous views. A lovely day out if you want to hike with friends or family.

              The all-round view is great! The paths are all very easy and well developed. Due to the easy accessibility, it can get full to overcrowded, especially on nice weekends. You hardly have a hiking experience in nature here, but on the quieter days out of season it can be quite idyllic.

                                        The partnership between the 8013 km distant mountains Emei Shan (Sichuan Province, China) and the Rigi was sealed in 2009. The Rigi stone weighs 2.6 tonnes and consists of Nagelfluh conglomerate. On July 31, 2015, the Chinese Emei Stone was unveiled on the Rigi-Kulm. The Emei stone weighs 8 tons and consists of basalt rock.
