Unfortunately, the stream is very short, but in summer it's a great place to cool off. One more thing: I walked again, but to the hamlet of Ried. The forest path is a dirt track with roots next to fallen trees, leading to a road with hiking trails. These lead steeply uphill to Binzeler or Oberellegg, for example. In Ried, you have a view of the Grünten and, from a bench, of the Illertal valley. I took a leisurely walk of about 40 minutes; you could probably do it faster if you wanted.
