Unfortunately the area was plowed earlier, so that today only the center point, a knoll with a diameter of approx. 50 m and an elevation of approx. 5 m, can be seen with a depression at the top. The small area is forested, but was thinned in early 2019.

The Schlössleshöppel tower hill is an abandoned medieval tower hill castle (motte) about 800 meters southeast of Großbuchfeld, a district of the municipality of Hirschaid in the district of Bamberg in Bavaria.
During demolition work around 1930, during which the tower hill was reduced to half its original height, bricks and fragments of stove tiles are said to have been found, but their whereabouts are unknown.
The site is protected as a ground monument number D-4-6231-0011 "Medieval Tower Hill".
