Oberwaldhaus - Darmstadt 🚴♂️
The Oberwaldhaus is a listed inn located on the Steinbrücker Teich (Steinbrück Pond). It was built in 1901 according to plans by the architects Franz Frenay and Johann Kling. Stylistically, the restaurant is part of the historicist style, with echoes and details of the local architectural style. For architectural and historical reasons, the building is now a cultural monument.🚴♂️

Absolutely delicious food and really beautifully located from here every tour is worth it and anyway, top beer garden and friendly staff.

One of my favorite routes from Darmstadt-Dieburg and vice versa. Great cycle path, even if I don't think it has been maintained at all recently?! The Oberwaldhaus Café Restaurant is of course a great place to stop for a break and enjoy some great little leisure activities.
