This large-leaved linden, with a height of 27 meters and a trunk circumference of 7.75 meters, is an impressive tree of equal dimensions and is on the district's protected tree list. This makes the fact that the tree was set ablaze using pyrotechnics on New Year's Eve 2025 all the more reprehensible. Carelessness and youthful exuberance endangered an outstanding natural monument. Fortunately, the tree appears to be still vital.
