The Adige Cycle Path near Grumo is a particularly scenic and excellently maintained section of this popular cycling route. The Adige Cycle Path between Bolzano and Trento is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, it's easy to cycle, always straight, but from midday onward, there's usually a strong headwind blowing up the Adige Valley from the Po Valley. All in all, over 100 km along the Adige River simply becomes boring. One option is a detour along the old railway line, via Kaltern and Tramin.
