In the beautiful Santakis forest growing next to Valkininkai, the Valkininkai Forest Enterprise has installed a tourist and educational trail "A Word to a Friend of the Forest". Undoubtedly, the most beautiful place on the trail is the bend of the Merkis River, where an outcrop several meters high has formed on the bank, which is constantly washed by water. At its top, there is an observation bridge, from which both the outcrop itself and the Merkis bend can be seen.
