Lake Sylvia Recreation Area is located in the scenic northeast corner of the Ouachita National Forest, surrounded by beautiful pine and oak-covered mountains. The 18-acre lake is perfect for swimming and fishing, and there is an adjacent campground—ideal for an overnight or weekend stay. The park includes a historic Girl Scout camp built in the late 1930s and trails that connect to the Ouachita National Recreation Trail, providing an opportunity for backpackers to explore this beautiful area.
