Site of the famous Halloren.
There is the saying: in Halle there are Halloren, Hallenser and Hallunken. Exactly in the order. Halloren are so to speak, old "nobility", a successor organization of the Salzsiedezunft. Salt has always been important to the city. The guild exists until today, but you can actually come in only by descent and birth. Hallenser, well the rest born in the place and Hallunken are the newcomers. Since you know immediately what my identifier means here.
The former royal saltworks now houses a museum. The Halloren from time to time through Schauseieden, the salt can be purchased immediately as a souvenir. And they keep the treasure of the Halloren here.
