The section on the former Schottenring, a historic motorcycle race track, offers a constant climb with a gradient of between 4% and 6% into the Hoher Vogelsberg, or the option of a rapid descent from it, and boasts a wonderful road surface. At the same time, the section also offers something for the eye. Winding along, framed by beautiful old trees, the road repeatedly offers beautiful views, on the one hand high up to the Hoherodskopf and on the other down into the Wetterau and the Niddastausee. Apart from motorcycles, there is also somewhat less traffic there than on the section via Breungeshain.
