The architectural appearance of the building was conceived and brought to life by the famous Kirzhach philanthropist, director of the Kirzhach printing house Evgeny Fedorov. He erected the chapel in memory of his mother.
The idea to dedicate a family chapel-font in Yeltsy in the form of a candle to the memory of his mother came in 2016, after the construction of the "Typographic Bridge" in the center of Kirzhach. . The total height of the wooden part of the chapel was 18 meters, and together with the dome and cross - about 20 meters. A wooden promenade will be built around the building. Gangways to the fonts will be attached to the right and left of it. The gangways will also lead to the Sherna River, which is about 150 meters away. A 30-meter staircase leads from the village of Yeltsy to the chapel.
