The tract "Ubitoe Pole" and the monument to Evpatiy Kolovrat
The tract with this name is located on the left bank of the Ushma River within the Vladimir region. From the north, the tract "Ubitoe Pole" adjoins Lake Svetets, and to the south there is a vast tract "Dorofeevsky Bor", which is bordered from the north by the old Belaya Road. From the depths of centuries, a legend has come down to us, which testifies to the "evil battle" of the Rus with the Horde of Batu. Over the years, this legendary place has acquired a popular name - the tract "Ubitoe Pole". There is indirect evidence that the Ryazan people - the warriors of the fearless Kolovrat Evpatiy - fought here with the Tatars.
